I have celebrated my 1-year anniversary of my Projectized. Here are the 5 things that I have learned after 1 year and over 200 episodes.
The Need Is There and People Are Happy with Projectized
I have created my Projectized on Periscope because there were any project management livestream shows (There still aren’t any.).
Plan Out Your Content in Advance
When you go live Mondays through Fridays, I have to plan in advance in order to have something to talk about. Throughout this year, I have found serialized content to be better for me and my audience.
Projectized Kept Me Current in Project Management
I have discussed the PMP new exam and the 50th PMI anniversary. I have received my PMP in 2013. Without Projectized, I would not report the new PMP exam. When you pass the PMP, you know only have to worry about getting 60 personal development units (PDUs) in 3 years.
Don’t Fear Expansion
Initially I broadcast only on Periscope. Now Projectized is on YouTube Live and Instagram Live. Every time I go live there is someone in the room. This would not happen if I stayed broadcasting only on Periscope.
Glad That I’ve Done It
I am glad that I have stuck it out because I have so much more project management related content. Also going live 5 days a week has improved my stamina. It is a habit to go live every single workweek. That’s discipline.
Watch Projectized Mondays through Fridays 5:30pm EST on Periscope, YouTube Live and Instagram Live.
