Last week Tuesday, I passed my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. Now I am back with 5 new weekly goals to build upon this momentum.
Updated my LinkedIn Profile and New Resume
I have updated my LinkedIn header, about me section and certifications. Immediately after doing those three things and uploading my new tech resume, a cloud-based recruiter emails me. It is imperative to keep the momentum going because landing a full-time remote work of Cleveland cloud computing opportunity is my main goal.

Expanding My Professional Network
New certification = new professional networking opportunities. I am happy to meet with other AWS certified professionals because I can learn from them. I have expanded my LinkedIn network. Also I see myself reaching out to other recruiters and touch base with them. Right now it is all about expanding my reach.
Shooting New Cloud Videos This Week
Expect more cloud videos this week. Now that I am AWS certified, I will unveil an all-new video marketing campaign showcase how I can help more companies with their cloud migration efforts. I will be leveraging my system administration and helpdesk experience.
New Website Content Coming To www.carlarjenkins.com
Of course www.carlarjenkins.com is the hub for everything! I will have everything on my blog, work samples tab, store. You name it, you can find it here! This week there will be no less than 3 new articles. I am very big on documenting my journey.
I am still making headway into passing my AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) certification exam before the June 30th deadline. Also I am working on improving my stakeholder communication skills. 90% of my job as a project manager is communication. In this pandemic, stakeholders change rapidly. Being able to identify, rank and communicate to the needs of my stakeholders will benefit me a whole lot.
