Week in Review : Keep on Pushing

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

This week after completing my Amazon Web Services (AWS) workforce development training, I have kept pushing my personal branding in IT and project management. This week I am all about positioning myself towards getting even more opportunities.

Completed 2 Lynda.com AWS Developers Associate Learning Path Courses

I kept supplementing my AWS workforce development training by completing the Lynda.com AWS Developers Associate learning path. There are 5 modules. I have completed 2 courses.

I have received a free Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) course. In the first two modules I have gotten a better understanding about what a Solutions Architect does. I will finish this in the upcoming week then return to the Lynda.com Developers Associate learning path. Moreover, I have 4 exam vouchers and SAA is one of them. Also SAA is the most popular AWS certification. Finally, studying SAA will help me retain my Solutions Architect Professional (SAP) knowledge. I want to stand out and passing the SAA then the SAP is my way of accomplishing this.

I am very happy to receive 280 YouTube subscribers. There has been an uptick in subscription from my Projectized project management show. I grateful for all of my subscribers. You can subscribe here: www.carlarjenkins.com/youtubechannel

Capitalized Upon Opportunity Corridor Job Fair

I didn’t even know about this opportunity during my Week Ahead. I thank my employment specialist for getting me all of the companies at this job fair. I am happy to meet with the IT recruiter because working in IT is my goal.

Great Newsletters Open and Click Rates

I have 4 newsletters (Carla’s Correspondence, PM.Project, PositivityChange Post, and Carla’s Corner). My open and click rates have been above average. My goal is to provide exclusive content.

Getting Ready for Nanowrimo

National Novel Writing Month (Nanowrimo) is this November 1st. The goal is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I am finalizing my strategy. I am looking to create more website content and short stories. I won Nanowrimo in 2015 and this resulted in my Amazon bestselling book, Expand Your Personal Brand.
