Breaking News: The SBA To Open PPP Window Only For Self-Employed, Sole Proprietors For 2 Weeks

On Monday, February 22, 2021, the White House announced that starting Wednesday, February 24, 2021 until March 10, 2021, the SBA will have a 2-week Paycheck Protection Program window for ONLY self-employed, sole proprietors, independent contractors and green card and visa holders. These are the smallest of the small PPP loan applicants. Here is the White House press release.

The Biden Administration has seen the data that the largest small businesses are getting their PPP loan applications processed. These larger companies have accountants and bankers on retainer. Here is the official SBA press release.
