This past Sunday has hit me with a doozy: I learn from another ITIL training provider that AXELOS has released two new ITIL 4 exams. These are the first 2 out of the 4 that are in the ITIL Managing Professional track. It is a bomb because earlier that Sunday I have completed my Week Ahead video.
Well, here is the information that I have gotten so far:
- The 2 new ITIL 4 exams are Create, Deliver and Support and Direct, Plan and Improve
- The ITIL 4 Managing Professional manuals are in beta access online but the hardcopies won’t be available until Jan. 2020
For more information, check out this AXELOS link: https://www.axelos.com/certifications/itil-certifications/itil-managing-professional-itil-4
That means that we are in limbo for at least the next 45-60 days. I just grateful that I have already completed the ITIL 4 Foundation exam so that I do not have to make up so much ground.
On a different note, I have finalized my travel arrangements to return to DC (Herndon, VA) and teach ITIL Service Operations. I am very happy to help others pass their ITIL certifications because I have gotten a lot of mileage out of mine.
Watch the video to see what else I am up to regarding ITIL 3 and ITIL 4
