CISSP Eighth Exam Prep Session : Make Sure It’s Recorded!

I am starting a new CISSP training through Certification Station this week. The instructor was Peter Zerger. I used his AZ-500 and YouTube channel to learn more about Microsoft Security. He also has SC-300 exam prep and CISSP LinkedIn Learning courses. I like his work so this is one of the reasons why I have registered for his course (Recordings help too because during the first part of the course, many could not see his slides.).

I have also learned from Pete that with the computer adaptative testing (CAT) that you cannot go back on the CISSP but you can go back to your answers on the paper. This is something that I may consider especially since the CISSP exam fee is $899 (Whew!).

Also I am happy to have this course because Cisco Webex does NOT want me to be great! I have to wait until the second half of the class to kick myself back into the class. What I will say is that this week I am learning cross-sit scripting, SQL injection and cyber attacks. This is reminiscent of security+. I am very happy that everything that I have learned 4 years ago is serving me well today.

Next week in my regularly scheduled class, we will be studying domain 4. I am going to have to pause this onto I pass my SC-200 Security Operations Analyst retake next Monday night.
