This has been a very strange and underwhelming 25-day cycle. I was supposed to pass my Google Cloud Platform Digital Cloud Leader exam this past Sunday but Kryterion did not want to act right so I have been rescheduled for this Thursday. I dislike this and it makes me appreciate Pearson even more. I have never been in the online photo room for 40 minutes with Google Chrome browser going in and out.
However, there is some good news

- 10/05 – ISC2 approved of my Certified in Cybersecurity endorsement and paid the $50 annual membership fee to formally become ISC2 Member and certified
- 10/10 – Received my Databricks free exam voucher
- 10/13 – Received my Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge completion email
- 10/13 – Received my AWS Certified Specialty Challenge 50% off exam voucher
- 10/14 – Received my AWS Community Builders free exam voucher
Become An ISC2 Member
On October 5, 2022, I became an ISC2 member. Someone on YouTube asked me about the endorsement process. Having received and submitted my endorsement on October 3, 2022, I checked my profile. I saw that ISC2 approved of my endorsement so immediately I paid the $50 annual membership fee. That meant that I was formally an ISC2 member and Certified in Cybersecurity certified.
Received My Free Databricks Exam Voucher
During the Day 825 100 day of cloud cycle, I mentioned completing the Lakehouse Fundamentals course to qualify for this free certification.
Right now I am split in between Data Analyst, Data Engineer and Machine Learning Professional. I will decide and of course you will know which one I have passed right here at www.carlarjenkins.com
Received my Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge Completion Email
I received my completion the same day the challenge opened on October 12, 2022. I was serious about getting my free exam voucher. Every little bit helped especially when it came to upskilling and career advancement. I had not solidified which exam I wanted to take yet but best believe that exam voucher will get used!
The Microsoft Cloud Skills Challenge is going on until November 9, 2022.
Received my AWS Certified Specialty Challenge 50% Off Exam Voucher
The AWS challenge opened October 3, 2022. Immediately I attended the AWS specialty Twitch Power Hour video learning session. I was happy to have received my discounted exam waiver because I thought that I had to wait until December 16, 2022, when the registration period ended. I was glad that I did not have to do that.
Received My AWS Community Builders Free Exam Voucher
I was very happy to receive this 1 month before the Solutions Architect Professional current exam retires. I am passing this exam because becoming an expert is one of my 2022 professional goals. I am already a Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert. Here’s to becoming an AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
