On Monday, August 28, 2017 at 6pm EST, I will be broadcasting an all-new Project Management Mondays Live (PMM Live) episode featuring stakeholder management. The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) renames stakeholder control to stakeholder management. This is an important distinction. PMBOK is saying that you cannot control (wrangle) people but you can manage and engage their expectations. Stakeholders can make or break your project. Most project success (and failures) are traced to identifying stakeholders throughout the project and not just during the initiating and planning domains.
Project Management Mondays is my longstanding series where every Monday I discuss a project management topic. PMM originally started on Blogtalkradio podcasting network. It is now rebranded as Project Management Mondays Live (PMM Live) on YouTube Live as its own livestream show. I feel that PMM Live fills the dire need for original project management content on livestream. There is nothing like it on YouTube. As an experienced certified project manager, it is important to provide original content and answer people’s questions. PMM Live does both every Monday at 6pm EST on YouTube Live!
