Passed My Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate Recertification Exam

posted in: Uncategorized | 4

It is official! I have passed my Oracle Foundations Associate 2021 recertification scoring 76% (38/50). I am glad that it is over because this exam is much harder than the PearsonVUE one.

I am also thankful that I have completed the free online training because a lot of those questions come from the quizzes. What I will say is that I need to pay way more attention to the online training because there are several things that have been whittled down. some of the stuff like VMWare, shape (instance size), compartments, Analytics And AI and the Data instance (data flow, data catalog, data science and data integration) threw me; but, I passed!

Resources I’ve Used To Pass My Recertification

  • Free Oracle University exam training – it saved my bacon! The 2021 exam is nothing like the 2020 exam. I am glad that I have completed the free training because I have received a deeper knowledge of all of the Oracle Cloud services.
  • Skillcertpro Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate certification exams – they were okay but sometimes did not align with the 2021 version.
  • Freecodecamp Oracle Foundations Associate video course – This was for the 2020 exam. It was a great refresher for me. It helped jog my memory ahead of my taking the free Oracle training.
  • Quizlet – I love flashcards. This tests my memory. I also get to learn some different question combinations.

What’s Next?

Although the Oracle Cloud Foundations Associate instructor recommends going for my Architect Associate, I am thinking about sitting for the Oracle Cloud Operations Associate since I am studying for Terraform too.
