This is the final formal GCP Jumpstart exam prep session that is specifically dedicated towards us completing the labs and sitting for the Associate Cloud Engineer certification. All of the future sessions will be around career development and learning from other GCP employees that work for the cloud provider. I must give you the reader this notice just in case you choose to apply for the GCP Jumpstart program you will know its structure.
Back to this session. We’ve dedicated the whole session towards reviewing the Associate Cloud Engineer sample exam questions and learning how to get in touch with the staff after the end of this phase. We have 1 year from the start of our program to complete all of the coursework and receive the Associate Cloud Engineer voucher. That means that I have until January 18, 2023 to complete everything. My goal is to complete this GCP Program no later than July 31, 2022.
Even though I have not finished all of the coursework (major bugs and having to study for my SC-200 Microsoft Security Operations Analyst retake exam before the voucher expires), I am happy to have applied and participated in the program.
- It has given me structure – the time will pass anyway. 12 weeks have gone by quickly. At least I have something to show for it.
- I have learned GCP directly from the experts
- I can definitely say that I am in a top 3 US cloud provider program – yes I and a whole lot of other people are bootstrapping their cloud learning; however, getting accepted into a formal Google Cloud Platform (GCP) means that you are a higher caliber individual. I am also an AWS Community Builder so cumulatively I have 2 of the 3 (Azure being the third one) cloud programs. This is a major accomplishment.
Of course, I will keep everyone posted on all of my future GCP career development sessions. Finally, reach out to me for help in better managing your GCP, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud here.
