Sitting For The AZ-700 Beta Exam

If you have not noticed I will sit for the AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate beta exam! I took advantage of the 80% off beta exam promo code, the Microsoft Learn learning path and the AZ-700 webinar (Tim Warner is a great teacher!).

However, I am also taking this because I want to challenge myself and deepen my Azure knowledge. I passed my first beta exam, the SC-900 Microsoft Security Fundamentals. I wanted to challenge myself by passing an associate-level beta exam. In addition, I wanted to learn more about cloud networking so AZ-700 is right up my alley.

I admit that initially I did not know the progression map for AZ-700 (i.e. AZ-900 – AZ-104 – AZ-400). Tim opined that he’s place it AZ-900 – AZ-700 – AZ-104. That was good to know so I signed up.

Getting AZ-700 certified meant that I was an Azure cloud engineer. Cloud engineer was a high-profile job and receiving this certification would put me on my way by quantifying my skillset. Employers would know what An Azure cloud engineer was.

Wish me luck everyone!
