Starting a New PMP Cycle

posted in: Uncategorized | 2

Hey everyone! This week signals an all-new 3-year Project Management Professional (PMP) certification cycle. The Project Management Institute (PMI), the governing organization that administers the PMP exam, mandates that everyone earns 60 units every three 3 years. Each person has to get 35 education units and 25 giving back units. I have documented my PMP renewal journey.

I have carried over 20 units from last cycle meaning that I only have to finish 40 units. My goal is to complete the remaining 40 units this year. When I am finished, my PMP will be current until June 2025. Of course, I will another video series chronicling my new PMP cycle and how I am earning the remaining 40 units to recertify.

Ensuring that my PMP license is current as long as possible is essential towards delivering the stellar customer delivery necessary to generate value.
