Week in Review: Happy Birthday to Me!

I am fresh off of my birthday this past Friday. I am completely rejuvenated for this New Year ahead of me!

Happy birthday to me!

I have celebrated my birthday and even though I have been back in my hometown Cleveland for nearly 1 year, I cannot say that this is a ‘rebuilding’ year because I received my ITIL 4 and have both of my sites www.carlarjenkins.com and www.positivitychange.com Alexa Internet Majestic Million.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Technical Essentials Course

This past Tuesday I took the online AWS technical essentials course through Amazon. I got this course through Ohio Means Jobs to obtain AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. In addition, I have an Adventures in Workforce Development YouTube playlist where I give viewer an inside view of what is like to be in a government training program.

LinkedIn – People Are watching my AWS video

I am a business blogger and LinkedIn is the business social media. I am very happy that even on my birthday, people were watching my AWS Technical Essentials video. This shows dedication. Also because this week was my birthday, I have not gone live in the app every day.

Receiving Over 170 TABE Video Views

I just checked the back end and saw the my TABE (Test for adult basic education) video has over 170 views. This is the reason why I create Adventures in Workforce Development video series because there is a thirst for knowledge. There is a very big focus on white collar jobs and college degrees, that there is no attention paid to blue collar and vocational jobs and battery tests. I am glad that this video can help so many people.

New ITIL for PMP Video Rollout

I have just checked my YouTube analytics and seen that my ITIL videos outperformed my PMP videos so I started an ITIL for PMP videos. I have done a series for ITILv3 so why not do one for ITILv4. I want project managers to understand and not fear the new ITIL4 changes. You don’t have to choose one or the other. You can do both.

This has been a great week to end one year and begin another!
