Coming off Juneteenth and Father’s Day, this week has been nothing short of full throttle. Opportunities came out of nowhere. My calendar filled up quickly and I was happy about it.

Receiving YouTube Testimonial About My Scrum Master Renewal Video

Thursday, I received a Facebook Messenger from a YouTube viewer asking me for help in renewing his Certified Scrum Master license. I shot him my response. This proved my why for creating a YouTube channel. Yes, it was a lead generator for my business but also a place where IT, cloud and project management professionals could develop their skills and keep abreast of the latest certification knowledge.

Expanding Personal Branding Opportunities

As I mentioned at the top of this blog post, I have been receiving so many opportunities especially in the cloud and project management spaces. Regarding project management, it’s not lost on me that my receiving my Certified Scrum Product Owner last week and my SAFe Scrum Master certification last May have boost my profile.

With cloud computing, this past Sunday, I came off of celebrating Day 350 of 100 Days of Cloud. I have been building upon that momentum ever since. In addition, I received a panel interview from a major cloud provider out of the blue. Continually pushing your brand was the way that I was sought after.

Nearing Day 365 of 100 Days of Cloud

I celebrated Day 350 of 100 Days of Cloud this past Sunday. I am nearing year 1 of participating in the challenge. I have received so many opportunities from keeping the pace.

I have received a lot of lessons learned and am happy about the foresight that I’ve displayed. One of which is focusing on cybersecurity and cloud security.

This past March, I took the SC-900 Microsoft Security Fundamentals beta exam in March 2021 receiving my certification in April 2021. The next step would had been passing AZ-500 Azure Security Technologies but then I got accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Community Builders Program. Having conversations with companies and employers, I learned that my focusing on security kept me relevant. Regardless of cloud vendor, they needed more security professionals.

As I near day 365 of 100 Days of Cloud, I will be detailing what I learned and what’s next for me. You can always be the first to know by subscribing to my mailing list
